Columbus, OH — Tonight, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther proudly accepted the endorsement of the Franklin County Democratic Party. At their executive committee meeting this evening, Franklin County Democrats honored Mayor Ginther’s reelection campaign with their continued support, endorsing him in Columbus’s 2023 mayoral race. After the endorsement, Mayor Ginther issued the following statement: 

“Serving this community as mayor has been the honor of a lifetime, and I cannot thank Columbus voters enough for giving me the opportunity for the past eight years. I thank my Democratic colleagues for believing in my leadership and for their continued support through this endorsement. Our hard work on behalf of Columbus families is far from over, and I am eager to continue working with Democrats across Columbus and Franklin County to make America’s Opportunity City even better for all who call our neighborhoods home.”
