Columbus, OH — Today, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther’s reelection campaign is proud to announce a critical endorsement from the Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund. The fund is proud to support Ginther as a leader and environmental champion who is ready to protect the environment, along with the health of the community. 

“The campaign is honored to receive the support and endorsement of The Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund as a true testament to the work Mayor Ginther has already done for the environment while in office. From canvassing the city to prevent litter to expanding recycling services and collecting more recyclable materials from city streets, the health of the community is a top priority of the Mayor. Thanks to the support of Columbus voters and under Mayor Ginther’s leadership, 100% clean and renewable energy is available to all residents through aggregation. These initiatives aimed at dramatically reducing Columbus’s carbon footprint have our city well on its way to a goal of carbon neutrality by 2050,” said Ginther campaign spokesperson Cameron Keir.
