Columbus, OH — Today, Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther’s campaign for reelection is honored to announce additional support from Franklin County Democrats. The Central Ohio Young Black Democrats, a chapter of Ohio Young Black Democrats officially endorsed Mayor Ginther for reelection this November.
Driven to empower young black voters to public service, Central Ohio Young Black Democrats are a crucial partner of both Mayor Ginther and the Franklin County Democratic Party in ensuring the voices of all Columbus neighbors are heard loud and clear. The support of COYBD shows just how critical the Mayor’s ongoing partnerships are with neighborhoods at all corners of Columbus.
“Winning this fall simply is not possible without the support of Columbus’s black community and the endorsement from Central Ohio Young Black Democrats cements that support for Mayor Andrew Ginther. The Mayor thanks COYBD for their confidence in his continued leadership, and for their continued efforts to empower black Democrats across Columbus and central Ohio to seek futures in public service and political office,” said Ginther campaign spokesperson Cameron Keir.
About COYBD: The Central Ohio Young Black Democrats mission is to introduce, develop, and encourage an active interest among young blacks, in community, government, and political affairs throughout central Ohio as an umbrella branch under the Ohio Young Black Democrats. COYBD seeks to be a leader in both politics and community activism within the central Ohio region. Our purpose is to engage, educate, enable, and inspire action & collaboration within the black community.
